We are excited to introduce the newest members of the ICS team! These new team members are joining us in our Binghamton and Syracuse offices.
First up we have Chris Vanderwerker, a Binghamton University graduate. Vanderwerker’s joins the company as Central Tech Operations Technician for all regions. Vanderwerker came from Conduent, a business operations and human resources-focused company in Endicott, New York where he served as a Transaction Processor and was responsible for cataloging and documenting license plate data. Vanderwerker’s role at the company will primarily focus on technical functions and maintenance.
Next up, Brittany Carver, a Binghamton-area native, joins us as a Client Strategy Manager in the Endicott office. Carver comes to the company from Bandalier, where she functioned as a Sales Development Representative. Brittany’s primary responsibilities included generating sales leads, managing the social media and utilizing relationships with clients to assist in their recruiting and staffing needs. Carver brings an array of administrative, creative and sales experience with her to ICS that will provide value to both ICS’ existing and potential customers.
Next we have Jonathan McVey, a Syracuse native and military veteran, who joins the company as a Level II Systems Engineer for the Syracuse region. McVey came from American Food and Vending Company where he worked as a SonicWall Upgrade Technician. He was tasked with maintaining and upgrading firewalls, using extreme attention to detail to maintain a 99 percent accuracy rating for all SonicWALLs being sent out. McVey brings a wide variety of expertise with technical IT experience and a vast array of software skills to ICS.
Next we have Brandon Sternburg, of Manlius, New York joining our team as a Level I Systems Engineer for the Syracuse region. Sternburg came from The Garam Group where he functioned as an IT Engineer. Brandon provided exceptional on-demand IT support, IT hardware repair and maintenance. Sternburg brings a wealth of industry knowledge and more than 10 years of proven IT experience.
Lastly, we have Josh Thompson joins the company as a Telephony Engineer for the Endicott region. Thompson’s role at ICS will primarily focus on project execution in the area of access control, security cameras and low voltage cabling. Thompson will also provide the company’s customers with hands-on troubleshooting of those systems hardware in accordance with industry best practices. Thompson brings in-depth experience of physical security products and hands-on troubleshooting experience to the company that will directly benefit ICS’ new and existing customers.
