The end of the year is finally upon us. As I sit here and reflect on 2018 preparing for the final week of the year, the one word that sums it up is grateful. ICS has had tremendous growth in 2018 and it was a complete team effort. Some of the things I am grateful for:
Employees: Our 80+ Family of Employees that are constantly stepping up and going way above and beyond. There are so many examples of the unsung heroes that do selfless acts behind the scenes to make ICS great every day. I am incredibly appreciative. In the last 2 months, we onboarded 9 new managed customers (a record) and we didn’t skip a beat. All systems were stressed, and I didn’t hear a single complaint.
Employee’s Families: In IT, schedules and plans sometimes don’t always fit. The wives, kids, and significant others are always patient in sharing their love ones for the best of ICS. I am appreciative of them. They execute our Vision and Mission while living out our Core Values.
Customers: Our Customers (Partners) who trust us everyday with their IT needs. We love walking along side our customers and assisting them in hitting their goals. I believe that we live in the greatest communities with the best people. We are so grateful to have so many loyal customers believing in what we are doing.
Strategic Partnerships: We have a team that we rely upon that guides us to strategically make good decisions and assist us in being the best we can be. This includes:
– Our EOS (Traction) Implementor
– HTG Community & Peer Group Members
– Executive, Sales and Service Coaches
– Accountant, Banker & Lawyers
All of these people are critical in helping us to execute our vision and I am extremely grateful for them.
The two biggest themes of the year are Security & Cloud. ICS has made huge investments in both areas to protect our clients and provide solutions that will enable our clients to be competitive and stay relevant. From my perspective, it is an exciting time to be in the IT Business and I am grateful that I get to wake up everyday and do what I love. I want to wish everyone a wonderful Christmas and Holiday time. I look forward to 2019 and working together to be a difference maker in the communities we live and serve together.
